Serena Williams is coming to Cincinnati this month. The tennis champion will be a keynote speaker at Black Tech Week, which takes place July 18-22 around the Queen City.
Friday, the social media accounts for Black Tech Week announced Williams’ addition to the lineup.
Williams is the founder and managing partner of her own venture capital company, Serena Ventures, which focuses on investing in companies committed to diverse leadership and opportunity, according to the tweet. She is also married to Alexis Ohanian, the co-founder and executive chairman of Reddit.

Black Tech Week will feature multiple speakers, conferences and events around Cincinnati, including a career fair at Washington Park. It also coincides with the Cincinnati Music Festival.
According to its website, Black Tech Week brings together “tech professionals and enthusiasts, funders, allies and members of the global Black tech community.”
